Chelic reported stronger first-quarter results as rising global shipments of AI servers drove demand across PCB, liquid-cooling, and semiconductor equipment supply chains, boosting orders for pneumatic components, flow sensors, and cleanroom automation parts. The company said optimized product design and adjusted production allocation increased shipments of higher-value-added products, supporting margins and operating performance in the quarter.
For the first quarter, Chelic recorded revenue of NT$406 million (US$12.95 million), up 7.14% year on year; gross profit of NT$122 million, up 17.92%; and a gross margin of 30.13%. Operating profit reached NT$8 million, up 186.54%, producing an operating margin of 2.06%. Net profit after tax totaled NT$5 million, up 93.18%, and earnings per share were NT$0.04, improving versus the same period in 2025. According to the firm, the margin improvement reflected a higher mix of premium products and more efficient production allocation.
Chelic said AI hardware demand revived investment momentum in PCB and semiconductor testing and packaging equipment, which, in turn, supported orders for its pneumatic and electric control automation components. Executives stated that both legacy product lines and new product rollouts contributed to the strong first-quarter results, providing a steadier operating base amid rising smart manufacturing and AI-driven infrastructure spending.
In product development, the company completed customer validation in the first quarter for ultrasonic flow sensors intended for liquid-cooling and facility applications, and expects these to convert into formal orders starting in the second quarter. Chelic described its ongoing transformation from a traditional pneumatic component supplier into a provider of smart manufacturing parts, including flow sensors, electric control components, electric grippers, and dexterous hands.
As shipments of PCB precision components scale up, the firm said it would further optimize its product mix and operating efficiency to strengthen profitability. With continued demand for AI servers, semiconductor equipment, and smart manufacturing, the company stated that medium- to long-term growth and profitability are expected to rise in tandem.
