Despite significant exchange rate fluctuations in June, Advantech recorded consolidated revenue of NT$5.838 billion (approx. US$201 million) for June 2025, representing an 18.39% year-over-year increase. Cumulatively, Advantech's consolidated revenue from January to June 2025 reached NT$35.187 billion, marking a 23.36% year-over-year growth.

Eric Chen, chief financial officer and president of general management at Advantech, stated that despite facing systemic risks such as reciprocal tariffs, geopolitical tensions, and currency volatility in the second quarter of 2025, the company's overall first-half revenue performance met expectations and sustained its recovery momentum. Observing the book-to-bill ratio, it remained stable compared to the first quarter, with all three major regions maintaining ratios above 1. North America showed the strongest momentum, indicating steady market demand and corporate purchasing power.

Regarding June's revenue breakdown by region, Advantech highlighted outstanding double-digit year-over-year growth in North America, Europe, Taiwan, South Korea, and emerging markets. Meanwhile, the Chinese and Japanese markets also achieved single-digit year-over-year increases.

Advantech reported double-digit growth across its Intelligent Systems Sector (iSystems), IoT Automation Sector (IAutomation), and Intelligent Service Sector (iService).

iService experienced remarkable growth of up to 90%. The Embedded Sector posted an overall 12% year-over-year increase, with the Embedded IoT Group (EIoT) growing by 5%. Additionally, the Applied Computing Group (ACG) saw a 27% year-over-year rise.

Addressing recent supply chain tightening, Chen explained that Advantech has proactively prepared by increasing short-term safety stock and initiating mid- to long-term design upgrades. By actively establishing stable and flexible contract mechanisms with module partners, the company aims to enhance operational resilience and adapt flexibly to external changes, thereby reducing potential market risks and uncertainties while steadily pursuing long-term growth objectives.

Reportedly, the New Taiwan dollar's volatility in June did have some impact on Advantech's overall performance. However, since approximately 50% of the company's revenue is denominated in US dollars, conducting transactions directly in USD helped mitigate exchange rate shocks.
