Panasonic recently announced its HDC-SX5 high-definition camcorder.
The HDC-SD5 features a 3CCD camera system and uses the AVCHD format to record full-HD video with 1920x1080 pixel resolution. The camcorder also has image stabilization to minimize handshake. The HDC-SX5 can record video onto both SDHC/SD memory cards and DVD discs.
The HDC-SX5 will available in September at a suggested retail price of US$899.95.
