AMD is set to release its Radeon RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT graphics cards on July 7, priced at US$379 and US$449 and targeting Nvidia's RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 as their main competitors, respectively, said the source, adding that the company will also begin selling its 50th anniversary version of Radeon RX 5700 XT that offers a higher clockspeed at US$499.
AMD's entry-level RX 5000 series products will also be rolled out in the near future, the sources noted.

The sources pointed out that Nvidia's Super series products continue to be made using Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company's (TSMC) 12nm process. They still adopt the existing Turing architecture, but have improved core number and component specifications.
With AMD fully embracing TSMC's 7nm process for its products, some market watchers believes AMD stands a good chance of boosting their graphics market share from 20% currently to 35%-40%.
