Korea-based Woongjin to expand capacity for mono-Si ingots and wafers

South Korea-based Woongjin Energy will invest 270 billion won (US$242 million) to increase capacity for monocrystalline silicon (mono-Si) ingots to 1.1GW and wafers to 500MW by the end of 2011, according to media reports from Korea.
