Acme to ramp up sapphire ingot capacity in 2Q10

Taiwan-based inductor maker Acme Electronics plans to ramp up its capacity of sapphire ingots to 120,000mm in the second quarter of 2010 from the current 90,000mm to meet increasing demand from the LED sector, according to the company.
