Global semiconductor sales stay almost flat in April

Worldwide sales of semiconductors totaled US$40 billion in April 2023, up a slight 0.3% sequentially, according to the latest Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) statistics. Sales were down 21.6% compared to the same period in 2022, however.
