Garmin International recently announced its entrance into the mobile phone market with the nuvifone, an all-in-one, touch screen device that combines a premium phone, mobile web-browser and personal navigator.
The nuvifone will support 3.5G connectivity, features a 3.5-inch touch screen display and GPS functions and will include Google local search capability. The device also includes a built-in video camera and MP3 and MPEG4/AAC playback functions.
The nuvifone is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2008.
