Arbor Technology has rolled out a MBX network security appliance, the MBX-1736, a network security hardware platform for system integrators and software developers to provide network management, content filtering, firewall/VPN, anti-virus, IDS/IPS and UTM applications for enterprises.
The MBX-1736 supports Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs up to 2.13GHz and up to 4GB dual-channel DDR2 system memory and adopts Intel's I/OAT (I/O Acceleration Technology) and AMT (Active Management Technology) to bolster server application response and I/O performance.
