Seagate will begin volume production of its 2.5-inch hybrid hard disk drives (HDD) in March 2007, according to Brian Wickman, president of Seagate for the greater China region.
The company expects to first introduce 2.5-inch hybrid HDDs with a 256MB buffer size with 512MB and 1GB versions to be introduced in the second half of 2007, Wickman pointed out.
