Taiwan-based mobile telecom carrier Taiwan Mobile (TWM) has launched the BlackBerry Bold 9700 as well as the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express solution in the Taiwan market. Sales of BlackBerry smartphones in Taiwan will remain strong in 2010 after having recorded a growth rate of 40-50% in 2009, according to Cliff Lai, COO of consumer business group at TWM.
TWM also plans to launch its own application store in the second quarter of 2010, seeing application services as key revenue growth drivers in the future, said George Chou, COO of enterprise business group at TWM.
