Network-equipment makers experience pick-up in WiMAX orders in 1Q08

Taiwan-based WiMAX equipment makers, including the Accton Technology Group, Gemtek Technology and Quanta Microsystems, have received more WiMAX orders from telecom operators in the first quarter of this year, according to sources at the makers.
