Seiko Watch will release the "Seiko SPECTRUM," a wristwatch using electronic paper for the display, on January 27, 2006. The electronic paper display used in this wristwatch was jointly developed by Seiko Epson and US-based E Ink. The price for the product will be ¥262,500 (US$2,202) and only 500 units will be launched onto the global market - 200 of those in Japan.
