Samsung Telecommunications America has announced that its Gear VR Innovator Edition will be available in the US early December. The Gear VR Innovator Edition, powered by Oculus, delivers a virtual reality experience on the Galaxy Note 4.
Leveraging the Galaxy Note 4's 5.7-inch high-resolution Quad HD Super AMOLED display, the Gear VR Innovator Edition allows developers to design 360-degree experiences.
In addition to an entertainment experience, the Gear VR Innovator Edition has potential for innovative uses for enterprise, including realistic training simulation for vehicles or aircraft, 360-degree views of scans for healthcare, and interactive learning experiences for the classroom, the vendor said.
