AUO has successfully developed ultra-slim 42-inch TFT-LCDs with LED technology.
This new LED TV technology, which allows the creation of a module less than 10mm thick, will be showcased at the SID 2008.
The technology also reduces weight significantly by 44% compared to conventional models and can reach a brightness of 450 nits. In addition, highly efficient white LEDs can further reduce power consumption and simplify the driving circuit.
