Royal Philips Electronics on June 6 announced that it will showcase its latest commercially available 3D 42-inch LCD TV at the Society for Information Display (SID) 2006 International Symposium, which runs from June 6-8 in San Francisco.
Featuring a resolution of 1920x1080, the 42-inch display has no need for special 3D glasses and has a contrast ratio of 1,000;1 and a brightness of 460cd/m2.
