"Multi-mode User Input" is a fallacy. Only an old terminal user like me uses cursor keys on a PC, others use mouse all the time. Microsoft use mouse instead of touch on a tablet sometime but everybody else will use touch all the time.Posted on Mar 28, 23:21
Usage scenarios for a tablet are very different from usage scenarios of a notebook. A tablet is held in one hand and used by another. Also remember, people using their tablets while watching TV or taking tablets to bed with them.Posted on Mar 28, 23:17
ARM tablets will decide the future of Win 8. The lower the price the more successful Win 8 will be. Desktop is too difficult to use using touch so it is not an important factor, and people are not going to connect mouse and keyboard to a tablet.
