It has a ridiculous battery life. I bought one, and I'm getting close to 7.5 hours.. that's on performance mode (1.8GHz) with WiFi on and 2GB RAM. A "regular" laptop can't even touch that. It's a great device.Posted on May 26, 09:34
Now that the Atom processor is out on the EEE PC - this should mean a much improved battery. Anyone have any news on this?Posted on May 23, 07:36
Glad I got my 4g 4gb for 瞿187 in january anything other is just to much to pay. Now I can buy later when the competition from other manufactures will force the price back down to the correct level for this class of device!Posted on May 23, 00:01
For those looking for a small lightweight laptop (not a primary computer or gaming laptop), what else is there in a sub-10" footprint that is at least as powerful?Posted on May 23, 00:00
Hopefully the $650 tag will be the Win XP w/ extra memory and extra battery version. Hopefully the Linux version will be less.Posted on May 20, 00:46
$650 - no freaking way. This was supposed to be the "Sub-$200" range of OMLPC or something like that. I might as well by a regular laptop for this price. You'd get more features and better usability.Posted on May 18, 11:49
Economically to compete with the UMPC of June the BT XP 901 will be below $600, when they came out with a price on the 900 as I recall it was $50+. What would happen if they charged more?
