Csun Manufacturing, which mainly produces equipment used in the production of LCD panels and PCBs, saw its consolidated revenues hit a record high of NT$631 million (US$21.8 million) in May 2011.

Csun is optimistic about the remainder of the year, and expects full-year results to see growth from 2010 levels, company chairman Liang Mao-sheng said during a shareholders meeting on June 16. Panel clients' construction of their next generation plants will spur demand for related production equipment, Liang indicated.

Panel makers AU Optronics (AUO) and Chimei Innolux (CMI), touch panel suppliers Wintek and Cando, and China-based vendors including Tianma Microelectronics reportedly are among Csun's major customers.

In addition, Suzhou Top Creation Machines, Csun's China-based subsidiary specializing in equipment used to manufacture PCBs, is expected to bring in substantial revenues for the company in 2011, Liang noted.

Suzhou Top Creation previously disclosed that it has entered the supply chain of major PCB manufacturers with its wet processing equipment, which is designed specially for the production of high-end PCBs such as any-layer HDI boards. The new orders would boost its revenues to US$14 million in 2011, and top US$20 million in 2012, the company said.
