Thanks to volume shipments of 18:9 smartphone panels from Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT), Taiwan's small- to medium-size panel shipments saw only a mild drop of 5% on quarter to come to 297.3 million units in the first quarter despite the period being the traditional slow season.
