Aside from seeing booming sales in China's market, TCL was aimed at expanding its sales in emerging markets during 2012 and expects them to continue climbing in 2013 due to expected global economic growth, said the observers.
Additionally, the company was focused on developing smart TVs during 2012 when China's smart TV penetration rate was at approximately 20%. However, that percentage is expected to double in 2013 and TCL plans to release new smart TV models to meet expected consumer demand, added the observers.
