AU Optronics has received the Examiner's Report made by the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) alleging the violation of competition rules in Korea conducted by a number of LCD manufacturers, including AUO, according to a posting on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE). The LCD maker stated that there have not yet been any announcement concerning fines on the alleged companies and that AUO is reviewing the Examiner's Report before taking further action.
When contacted by Digitimes, Chimei Innolux (CMI) stated that it has not yet received the report so it cannot comment on the situation.
