US-based Newegg on June 2 announced cooperation with Taiwantrade.com operated by the government-sponsored Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to tout Taiwan-based businesses to use Newegg Marketplace, the former's B2B2C platform for establishing online retail stores, according to TAITRA.
Taiwantrade is an interactive e-commerce web portal specifically design for Taiwan-based small and medium businesses (SMBs) to compete for export orders and has 110,000 members currently, TAITRA noted.
As part of its international business promotion plan "First from Asia", Newegg hopes to tout SMB members of Taiwantrade to set up retail stores for marketing their products at the marketplace.
