LCD backlight unit makers feel affects of reduced TV panel orders from CMO

Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO) has reduced its LCD TV panel backlight unit (BLU) orders this quarter to major suppliers Coretronic and Kenmos Technology, with the move affecting the April performance of the two BLU makers, industry sources indicated.
