It specifically said "processor division"... AMD bought ATI, Intel is aiming to create a dedicated GPU, and both are planing on integrating GPU and CPU. Intel wants to be rid of the GPU entirely and do raytracing on its on processors.Posted on Mar 19, 04:06
Considering what they did to the last chipset company they bought out (ULI-remember them?) Bought them out and shuttered them. I would hate to see it happen.
