Foxconn Interconnect Technology (FIT) unveiled its global automotive platform brand One Mobility at The smarter E Europe 2026, the continent’s largest energy industry trade alliance, marking FIT’s first appearance under the new brand and its third consecutive year at the event. The company said the rebrand consolidated its vehicle charging businesses under a single identity to boost market recognition and address rising competition in the electric vehicle charging infrastructure market.

At the show, FIT exhibited a newly developed 80kW direct-current (DC) charger alongside its existing 180kW DC fast charger, forming a DC product line intended to cover use cases from destination charging to commercial sites, fleet operations and public charging networks. The firm presented these offerings as part of a strategy to deliver a complete DC charging portfolio for varied commercial and public deployments.

On the alternating-current (AC) side, FIT showcased an upgraded Anoles series designed for outdoor environments with improved full-power output stability. The upgraded AC chargers incorporated ISO 15118 Plug & Charge certification, IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards and more precise energy metering features, reflecting enhancements in interoperability, network security and billing accuracy demanded by charging operators and network integrators.

FIT connected the product announcements to its manufacturing footprint adjustments. The company said construction continued on a new factory in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and that the full AC and DC product line would form the basis for future local production. Executives stated that local manufacturing in the Middle East would provide supply advantages for customers in that region and respond to requests for more localized supply chains.

According to FIT, presenting One Mobility at The smarter E Europe 2026 aimed to strengthen the company’s brand presence in Europe while aligning product capabilities and certifications with regional interoperability and cybersecurity expectations. The firm positioned the combined product lineup and regional production plans as steps to deepen market access across Europe and the Middle East amid intensifying competition in EV charging infrastructure.
