Swancor Holding and RobiChip Technology announced a strategic partnership to accelerate the adoption of advanced packaging materials and heterogeneous chip system integration in robots, robot dogs, and AI-powered platforms, the firms said at the forum on robotics and circular materials hosted by the Taiwan Composite Low-Carbon Circular Alliance. The collaboration will focus on co-developing materials and high-power-density power systems to enable the deployment of next-generation robotic and drone applications.
Swancor said the deal expands its circular materials business into aerospace and AI robotics and links to previously announced robot investments. The company stated the partnership aims to introduce advanced packaging materials into AI smart platforms to balance performance and sustainability for future power systems.
RobiChip described its strategy as "Power + AI + Robotics," and outlined a product chain that spans upstream heterogeneous advanced packaging, midstream design and development, and downstream offerings including the RobiThrust drone propulsion platform and robotics applications. The firm said RobiThrust was its commercial focus for the second quarter and noted it received an honorable mention among 1,487 companies in the Ministry of Economic Affairs' 2026 Best AI Awards.
RobiChip highlighted its high-power-density intelligent robot and drone power control Power SoC chip platform, and an AI-assisted high-thrust-density drone power platform as evidence of its technical capabilities. A spokesperson stated the partnership is intended to combine materials expertise with application know-how to move smart power platforms from technical validation to practical deployment and market adoption.
Executives said competitiveness for the next generation of robots and drone platforms will depend not only on algorithms but also on breakthroughs in power density, thermal management, materials integration, and system validation at the underlying power-system layer. The firms indicated the collaboration will target real-world applications by integrating advanced packaging into high-power robotic and drone power subsystems.
