The global top-5 notebook brands not including Apple saw their combined shipments decelerate on month in October, while the top-3 ODMs also suffered the same decline rate in their combined shipments.
Abstract

The global top-5 notebook brands not including Apple together experienced an on-month decline of around 20% in October after their keen shipments in September for the peak season, but the volumes still rose 3% on year.

Among the top-5 brands, Dell was the only vendor with an on-month shipment growth in October thanks to a recovery in the enterprise sector, a major source of orders for the US-based brand.

Hewlett-Packard (HP), which pushed its shipments in September, eyeing to meet its fiscal 2023 targets early, saw a major on-month shipment plunge in October, while Lenovo had a shipment performance in between Dell and HP.
