Nvidia, which possesses key AI and GPU software and hardware capabilities, has been thrust into the spotlight over the last two years, driven by the growth of the metaverse and the recent emergence of ChatGPT.

Nvidia has long been engaged in the AI field. In recent years it has achieved good technical and application results, further widening its gap between Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Nvidia is also increasing its market share and revenue in the automotive and data center markets.

Over the past 20 years, Nvidia has encountered numerous setbacks and losses, including its withdrawal from the PC chip and mobile device markets; however, under the leadership of CEO Jensen Huang, the company has overcome these challenges.

Nvidia established itself as a leader in the gaming market early on and its GPU performance in data centers continues to grow. Nvidia also experienced rapid growth during the crypto mining boom between 2017-2021.

In 2020, with the arrival of the AI era, Nvidia began to see its market valuation, market value, and performance rise.

Today, revenue from Nvidia's data center business has surpassed its gaming GPU business, while revenue and profit from AI GPUs are expected to remain stable and grow.
