Taiwan-based makers' server-related revenues grew 7.1% on year to reach NT$1.65 trillion in 2021, outperforming that of shipments, which was only 4.5%.
Abstract

Cloud datacenter operators' strong order momentum in 2021 had driven up the sales growth of high-density and multi-node rack servers with higher unit prices, high-speed network communication equipment and high-capacity storage systems.
In 2022, Taiwan-based makers are expected to see their server-related revenues uplift over 10% on year, buoyed by ongoing robust demand from US- and China-based major datacenters.
Foxconn contributed near 50% of Taiwan's overall server-related revenues in 2021, followed by Quanta and the Wistron Group at second and third places.
