PCB maker Tripod Technology has reported revenues of NT$3.97 billion (US$121.6 million) for August 2015, representing growth of 3.6% sequentially and 7% on year. The sales were the third-highest monthly figures in the company's history.

Tripod's revenues for the first eight months of 2015 came to NT$28.02 billion, rising 1.7% from a year earlier.

Tripod has in recent years reduced its sales ratio for PC-use PCBs while putting more emphasis on HDI boards and other product lines for automotive, networking equipment, servers and TFT LCD panels. As a proportion of company revenues, Tripod's products for PC-related applications including notebooks and hard disk drives slid to about 20% from 40% previously.

Tripod posted NT$2.02 in EPS for the first half of 2015. Market watchers expect Tripod's EPS for 2015 to reach NT$4.50-4.60.
