Leica has launched its X Vario digital camera in the Taiwan market at a recommended retail price of NT$98,000 (US$3,250, body only).
The Leica X Vario features 16.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS image sensor, Vario-Elmar 28-70mm/3.5-6.4 ASPH zoom lens, a 3-inch 920,000-pixel TFT-LCD screen, dimensions of 133 (W) by 73(H) by 95(D)mm and a weight of 594g (not including battery), according to Leica's sales agent Schmidt Marketing (Taiwan).
Leica has also launched D-Lux 6 "Edition by G-STAR RAW," a co-brand digital camera with Dutch fashion brand G-STAR RAW, for NT$39,800.
