Kinko Optical expects to ship 184 million glass optical lens pieces for digital cameras, phone cameras, projectors, and other products in 2011, increasing by 16.5% from 2010, according to the Taiwan-based company.
Digital still camera (DSC) applications' share of total shipments will decrease from 64.73% in 2010 to 60% in 2011, while DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) cameras' share will increase from 22.31% to 25%, Kinko indicated.
Mainly due to the Lunar New Year holiday in early February, Kinko said its consolidated revenues for the month slipped 32.63% sequentially to NT$296 million.
