CMI cuts prices to clear CCFL-backlit TV panel inventory

Chimei Innolux (CMI) has cut prices of its CCFL-backlit LCD TV panels in order to clear its inventory, as it plans to increase its production of LED-backlit models, according to sources with Taiwan's TFT-LCD panel sector.
