ECS drops notebook shipment guidance to four million units for 2009

Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) shipped around 1.6 million notebooks in the first half of 2009 and expects annual shipments to reach four million units, down from its previous forecast of 4.5 million, according to company chairman, Wen-Yen Lin Kuo.
