NXP and Purple Labs bring Linux to 3G handsets

NXP Semiconductors today announced the availability of the Linux open source operating system (OS), Nexperia cellular system solution 7210, for 3G mobile phone system solutions by collaborating with the France-based design house Purple Labs.
