MediaTek 4Q05 gross margins should approach 60%

In line with MediaTek reporting December 2005 revenues of NT$4.78 billion (US$149.4 million), analysts estimate that the leading consumer electronics IC design house should report gross margins as high as 59% for the fourth quarter of 2005.
