AU Optronics raises US$480 million via ADR

AU Optronics (AUO) completed a 30 million-unit ADR (American Depositary Receipt) issue, raising US$480 million in new capital last week, company sources said. The ADR issue included a greenshoe option for an additional 2.5 million units.
