Founded in 2014, Xpeng is committed to developing the design and manufacturing of smart electric vehicles and positioning itself in the smart and mid-to-high-end market. With sales volume of 98,000 units in 2021, Xpeng ranks first among the new carmakers, with digitalization and electrification being its main feature. Xpeng has invested in the areas of smart driving, smart networking, and smart cockpit, by providing Xpilot and Xmart OS. In February 2022, the company invested in Inventchip Technology to develop SiC MOSFETs, with a target of 200K units in 2022.
