GAC is a Chinese automaker with annual sales of more than 2 million vehicles. Through a joint venture, it sells passenger cars of Honda, Toyota and Mitsubishi in China, and commercial vehicles with BYD and Hino. Trumpchi is the first brand under GAC and GAC Aion is its first EV brand. In 2022, GAC Aion invested in battery and electric drive technologies. In addition, it develops fast-charging and energy storage technologies, as well as IGBTs for vehicles through its subsidiaries.
