Apple Mac Pro workstation and Pro Display XDR monitor
Apple's all-new Mac Pro, to be available in December 2019, features workstation-class Xeon processors up to 28 cores, 1.5TB memory, eight PCIe expansion slots and a graphics architecture featuring the latest graphics card. The Pro Display XDR features a 32-inch Retina 6K display with P3 wide and 10-bit color, 1,600 nits of peak brightness, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and a superwide viewing angle, Apple said.

Apple Mac Pro workstation
The Apple Mac Pro features Xeon processors up to 28 cores, with 64 PCI Express lanes for performance and bandwidth. It provides over 300W of power. The Mac Pro features a six-channel memory architecture, 12 physical DIMM slots for up to 1.5TB of memory. It is also equipped with a graphics card with up to 56 teraflops of graphics performance in a single system. Its graphics expansion architecture, the Apple MPX Module, features Thunderbolt integration and over 500W of power. The Mac Pro's graphics options start with the Radeon Pro 580X and can be upgraded to two Vega II Duos for a 56 teraflops of graphics performance and 128GB of video memory.

Apple has showed a sneak peek into the future of the pro desktop with a first look at the next-generation Mac Pro. Designed around a unified thermal core, the Mac Pro introduces a new pro desktop architecture and design that is optimized for performance. The new 9.9-inch tall Mac Pro features next-generation Xeon processors, dual workstation-class GPUs, Thunderbolt 2, PCIe-based flash storage, and ECC memory. The next-generation Mac Pro is architected around a unified thermal core that allows the desktop to efficiently share its entire thermal capacity across all the processors. Next generation Intel Xeon E5 processors with up to 12 core configurations deliver double the floating point performance. With two AMD FirePro workstation-class GPUs, the all-new Mac Pro is up to 2.5 times faster than the current Mac Pro and delivers up to seven teraflops of compute power. The new Mac Pro also features PCIe-based flash storage that is up to 10 times faster than conventional desktop hard drives and includes the latest four-channel ECC DDR3 memory running at 1866 MHz to deliver up to 60GBps of memory bandwidth.
