Corning has announced it has filed a patent infringement lawsuit in Taiwan against AvanStrate Taiwan Inc, a manufacturer of LCD glass substrates.

AvanStrate has released a series of new thin and light glass substrate products in order to meet market requirements.

Corning has said that its LCD glass production in Taiwan has not been impacted by the earthquake that shook Taiwan on March 4.
