Vista does run DX10 natively but DX is backwards compatible with early versions, and the effects that create Aero are only based on DX9 and SM3. A DX 10 card is not a requirement for Vista Premium support.Posted on Feb 6, 08:41
What does "compatible with the new Windows Aero user interface thanks to support of Microsoft DirectX 9.0c Shader Model 3.0." Have Anything to do with Windows Aero style/effects in the least bit?Windows Vista natively runs DirectX 10.
