Taiwanese industrial PC (IPC) maker Sysgration is expected to benefit from US President Donald Trump's tariff policy, with its Texas plant anticipated to begin mass production in the second half of 2025. Additionally, the company's new IPC products are expected to begin shipping in March, earlier than the previous estimate of third-quarter 2025.

Sysgration invested NT$1 billion (US$30.49 million) into developing its US manufacturing layout two years ago at the request of customers. On February 26, to continue strengthening investments in the US, the company's board of directors decided to conduct a private placement of 25 million shares to bring in strategic investors in preparation for the next phase of capacity expansion in the US.

Despite global economic fluctuations and industry transformation pressures, Sysgration continues to make improvements to its product portfolio with high-margin products such as IPCs, backup battery units (BBU), robots, and drones, focusing on the European and American markets.

According to Sysgration, the early shipment of its IPC products in March will usher in large-scale shipments in the third quarter. The move also highlights significant improvements in the AI market forecast, internal cooperation, production efficiency, and supply chain operating efficiency.

Regarding IPCs and its in-house developed augmented reality (AR) smart glasses, not only can Sysgration accelerate the move from the cloud to the edge, but it can also help customers reduce operating costs. The company has also made substantial progress in market expansion and production process optimization, laying a solid foundation for future growth.

Sysgration cited data from a report that pointed out that as global demand for industrial automation and smart manufacturing continues to rise, IPC technology is quickly becoming an important engine driving industrial upgrades. It is estimated that between 2024 and 2029, the IPC market will have room for more than US$2 billion in growth.

As Sysgration effectively seizes market opportunities, it will also help further expand the subsequent market scale. It is expected that in 2025, with IPC achieving breakthroughs in revenue and profit performance, shipment volume will experience double-digit growth, resulting in outstanding performance.

Sysgration's 2024 consolidated revenue totaled NT$3.11 billion, while profit after tax reached NT$116 million.
