Taiwanese manufacturers control 82.9% of the global server manufacturing capacity, 77.9% of the notebook production capacity, and 54.7% of the PC capacity.

Industrial PCs (IPCs) are no exception to this rule. According to the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), at the world's largest IPC conference, "Embedded World 2024," Taiwanese manufacturers were the second-largest exhibitors, behind only Germany.

Embedded World 2024 took place from April 9 to 11 in Nuremberg, Germany. TAITRA invited 14 companies that received the Taiwan Excellence Award to showcase 39 cutting-edge products focusing on edge computing, network communication, smart technology solutions, and more. TAITRA also mentioned that Taiwan will be present at the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) in Dubai, which will be held from October 14 to 18.

On April 10, TAITRA pointed out that in the face of the AI wave, Taiwan has a world-class ICT industry and semiconductor supply chain, offering flexible, diverse, and customizable tech innovations, making it a reliable global business partner. With 133 Taiwanese exhibitors, Taiwan became the second-largest participant at Embedded World 2024, showcasing its significance in embedded applications.

According to official information, the Taiwanese product showcases focused on innovative technologies such as AI, edge computing, charging stations, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and full-color electronic paper. Taiwanese manufacturers have always had high expectations for entering the technological ecosystem in Taiwan-Europe cooperation.

Some of the highlights from Taiwanese exhibitors include Aplex Technology exhibiting charging stations, HMIs, touch-control IPCs, and touch-control industrial displays; AVerMedia using Nvidia chips for various embedded IoT applications; E Ink providing 6-color solutions; iBase offering AI solutions tailored for high-speed computing and multitasking demand, enabling real-time analysis of visual data for AIoT applications like smart factories, transportation, and healthcare.
