China-based Eve Energy will build battery plant in Hungary to support BMW

Another China-based battery company has expanded to Hungary. Eve Energy recently bought land in Debrecen to build its first European plant, slated to begin operation in 2026. The production site is expected to support cylindrical batteries for BMW.
