Fitbit has unveiled its Charge 3 smart wrist band in Taiwan at a recommended retail price of NT$4,990 (US$162) for a core version and NT$5,590 for a special edition equipped with built-in NFC functionality supporting Fitbit Pay e-payment services.
Charge 3 features 24-hour monitoring of heart rates, calculation of burned calories, blood SpO2 (pulse oximetry) sensing, setup of goals for more than 15 exercise modes, display of pace and distance during running via connection with smartphones, and sleep tracking.
Fitbit said it has sold 35 million Charge series wrist bands around the world.
