Optical film maker Wah Hong has reported its December 2014 consolidated revenues reached NT$933 million (US$29.17 million), up 2.81% on month and up 0.94% on year.

Revenues for the fourth quarter of 2014 reached NT$2.92 billion, while those for 2014 reached NT$12.26 billion, up 8.6% on year.

BMC applications and LCD materials drove the company's performance, with demand coming largely from China-based customers, the company said, adding that it also further developed materials for vehicle and tablet applications.

Wah Hong is optimistic about LCD material demand in 2015 as demand for TVs sized 55- to 90-inch are increasing, and is also looking to further its presence in emerging markets.
