MCU supplier Holtek Semiconductor has reported net profits of NT$744.95 million (US$24.54 million) for 2013, increasing 33% from a year earlier. The earnings translated into an EPS of NT$3.32.
The company saw revenues grow 9.5% to NT$3.89 billion in 2013, and its MCU shipments for the year reached 430 million units, an increase of 14% from the previous year.
Sales of MCUs accounted for 66% of Holtek's total revenues in 2013, while peripheral ICs, development tools and other design works made up the remaining 34%.
