Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) on July 10 reported non-consolidated revenues of NT$236.83 billion (US$7.91 billion) for June, decreasing 1.76% on month but increasing 3.69% on year. Second-quarter revenues of NT$729.65 billion dropped 7.63% and January-June revenues of NT$1,519.6 billion grew 27.92%.
For the second half, market watchers believe a major client's new smartphone and mini tablet PC orders are expected to strongly benefit Foxconn's revenue performance and the entrance of iPad in China after resolving its trademark issues are also expected to bring revenue increases to Foxconn in July.
